Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The musical Bettle performed in Two's Company was her first acting role on stage in the 50s. Following that, she performed on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 in which Li'l abner was big in the National Theatre. Her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood with God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She was Griselda, a character in the movie. During this time she enrolled into Actors Studio in New York and formed a connection to Lee Strasberg as his student. The next role she starred in was from 1964, when she was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise Balfour managed to juggle between Broadway as well as Hollywood acting as a sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Helen Magnus, but in recent years, she has earned a reputation as a producer on a variety of famous TV shows, including Supernatural. Born in Essex in Ontario on the 28th August 1965, her family moved to Toronto around the age of three. Her childhood was spent there and her adolescence. In 1997 after being selected to play Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has lived in Vancouver ever since.
