Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman to has won CrossFit Games in two consecutive year. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir (Islander) is an athlete in weightlifting CrossFit as well as a popular media personality. She became famous for becoming the first woman to have been awarded the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 as well as 2012 She is also known for having won Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was born and raised up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. She was a keen sportsperson and began working out at when she was a young age. The first time she participated was time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games in California in which she performed well. Annie Thorisdottir is expected to turn 31 by 2021. She is 5'7" tall, and weighs around 67 pounds. Annie started her CrossFit journey in 2009 California. She was successful in her first games, finishing within the top 10 in the rankings. However, she didn't win a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. For CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won an Olympic silver medal that same year. The following year, she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her outstanding performance she was able to win the competition becoming the first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an outstanding performance in 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to have won each of the CrossFit Games. In addition, she was awarded a medal that was silver in 2014 and a medal of bronze in CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her idea. Annie is a rising athlete who has been the face for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs and Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration and the Sidekick Yorbae. A few thousand people subscribe to her self-titled Youtube Channel where training videos along with travel vlogs, family and training videos are uploaded.
